CHATEAU COFFEE BISHOP STORTFORD

Went in for a late lunch during weekdays, it was pretty quiet, it was my first time to this cafe, I noticed there is a children soft play room in a corner, it is a separate room with the door shut and a sign was indicating it’s a soft play area. I really appreciate that the door was shut and it was a separate room, so customers without kids can have peace and quiet whilst having their meals. I had lunch with a friend and I’m not sure why the waitress only gave us one food menu and one drink menu, it’s a bit odd. The menu has limited choice of food, half of the food in the menu is breakfast, & others are sourdough toasties, wraps and salads. I had chicken and bacon wraps, to be honest that wasn’t something I really wanted to eat but I couldn’t choose any other better option that I liked. However the chicken & bacon wraps was very delicious, presentation looked nice too. The wraps were served with vegetables crisps as side, I personally like it very much, but to some people might not prefer vegetables crisps to potatoes crisps or salad. There is no service charge added in the bill and that’s something I take into account for my rating, overall it’s a 4 stars out of 5.

Another visit here.. We absolutely love the food choices, freshly squeezed orange juice was the best I've had. Breakfast was perfect and the staff are a credit to the owners.. Highly recommend Chateau coffee shop. Plenty of seating. Clean place. A*

We hired Rainbow Softplay (at the back of the café) for my son's 3rd birthday party for an hour and a half - wow! What a wonderful venue and wonderful staff at a very reasonable price! The softplay is perfect for the age group, a safe environment, not too big and able to see the children from all angles. The parents complimented the great choice of sandwiches, fruit, veggie sticks and crisps with squash on tap. We would highly recommend Rainbow Softplay and would not hesitate to book again!

My dad and I had the Spanish Sourdough Toasties which had chorizo, manchego cheese, red onion and red pepper chutney which was ABSOLUTLY delicious! We also added halloumi inside because we’re massive halloumi fans and they were very generous! It was divine and no faults. I also had the regenerate mango orange and honey smoothie and that was really yummy too!

The staff are so friendly, kind, helpful, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond. The food is delicious, the hot drinks are great and the atmosphere is wonderful. I also really like the new additional menus. I love this café, the decor is nice and the music in the background is very relaxing. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much everybody!!!

Dropped by here on the off chance. What a surprise we had! Food and coffee were amazing which makes it worth the price and the staff were super friendly. My partner had the English Breakfast whilst I had the Eggs Benedict. Ingredients were all high quality and cooked exactly how we like it. Well worth the visit and will definitely be dropping by again.

What a fantastic place. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, they catered for my dairy and soja allergies and were very careful to avoid cross contamination. I am so pleased that we walked in. The soft play is lovely and very clean. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely be coming back.
